These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TradeCostPro, including our web dashboard, statement parsing APIs, forensic reporting utilities, and AI accountant tools. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Important Non-Financial Advice Disclaimer:
TradeCostPro is a software utility designed for mathematical document parsing, OCR character extraction, and automated ledger organization. We are NOT a certified public accounting firm, financial advisor, broker-dealer, or legal counsel. All analytics, savings rates, forecasts, and AI accountant answers are provided for informational organization only. Users are advised to consult a licensed tax or accounting professional for official filings.
1. Permitted Use & Account Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase points.
- You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to only upload bank statements that you legally own or for which you have explicit written authorization to process.
- You agree not to reverse-engineer our parser engines, scrape data through unauthorized automated scripts, or attempt to overwhelm system infrastructure.
2. Subscriptions, Points & Billing
- Free Tier: Free accounts receive complimentary daily bonus points and standard parsing capabilities.
- Paid Plans (Lite & Pro): Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. You may cancel renewal at any time via your Account Settings.
- Virtual Points (🪙): Points are consumable utility credits used to execute parsing jobs. Unused points remain in your balance while your account is active. Points carry no cash surrender value.
- Refund Policy: If a technical fault or parser error prevents a statement from being processed, points are automatically refunded or re-credited upon contacting support within 14 days.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The TradeCostPro parsing algorithms, forensic continuity formulas, user interface designs, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of TradeCostPro. You retain full ownership and rights to all data contained within your uploaded statements.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TradeCostPro, its officers, or directors be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service, including data discrepancies or third-party banking layout changes.
